Johnson JG-670 Songwriter Series The JG-670 series leads the way with great sound and price. We import Canadian Sitka spruce and press it into a one-half solid and one-half laminate top. This gives the guitar a rich tone, while maintaining the stability of laminate woods. We import Honduras mahogany that is finished in a rich brown color. The back is gracefully arched and is accented with a herringbone backstripe. The neck is set with a traditional dovetail joint for a stable neck angle. We use a bound rosewood fingerboard with well dresses, nickel/silver frets. In addition, we hand inlay an abalone rosette to give this guitar a striking look. Only select woods are used in the construction of this guitar. The workmanship is very clean inside and out. The quality of this guitar is a milestone for our guitar building and the price is an achievement for great sounding instruments. No one can match our price without sacrificing quality. Features:
